Marigolds Letter

Dear Eugenia Collier,

Your story surprised me in many ways. My reaction was excited about how Liabeth cahnged her life for the better. "And I too have Planted marigolds."This quote is what L:izabeth said, before she hated the flowersbut now she loves them. The best part in this story was when Lizabeth went back to the garden, but she wouldn't have to go back if she wouldn't have destoryed it. This reminds me of the time when I would rip up my grandma's shirts she nited.I would always go back to say sorry. My question is why did Lizabeth go back to the garden?I think it is because she felt bad and started to understand how she affected the people around her. For example, I went back to say sorry because I didn't have to do that. I didn't know that I also affected the people around me which was my grandma.I understand why Lizabeth destoryed the flower because what was going on at home, like money wise, between her mmom an d dad, and thing of that sort. Your story was perfect at one point then sad but good at the end.
